The vision of the Litchfield Coordinating Committee for America’s 250th is that organizations and individuals in Litchfield will offer a wide variety of commemorations and celebrations for residents and visitors between September 2023 and December 2026 in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The mission of the Litchfield Coordinating Committee for America’s 250th is to encourage and coordinate organizations and individuals in commemorating and celebrating the events and principles that were key to the founding of the United States of America and its ongoing growth as a nation.
